Frontier Military Historic Byway

Gordon Parks Museum – Fort Scott

Learn about one of the most famous and influential Kansans at the Gordon Parks Museum in Fort Scott. Parks became the first African-American photojournalist to work for LIFE magazine and the first African-American to direct a major Hollywood production (The Learning Tree, 1968).
