You'll find history and stunning beauty along the Native Stone Scenic Byway! The byway was named in honor of the native stone fences that you can find along the byway, a traditional fence-making method pioneered by the settlers that had limited access to trees. These same settlers used natural stone in the architecture of the area, as well, which adds charm to the towns you'll find along the way.
