Spring in Kansas

Spring is a popular time to explore Kansas. This time of year comes with cool breezes, sunshine, a little bit of rain, and blossoming flowers! Many outdoor and recreation enthusiasts get out and enjoy hiking, fishing, disc golf, and camping. For those on Spring Break, don't forget that Kansas has plenty of cities, college towns, and other nightlife for visitors to enjoy while the weather begins to hit a happy medium. It's also around the same time that Sporting KC begins their season!

If you love taking early road trips before the summer traffic hits, then Spring is an excellent time to go out and find those roads you didn't know we had. Spring makes our amazing Flint Hills and State Parks become ever more picturesque as the grasslands and trees slowly come back to life. Springtime also brings no shortage of events to Kansas, as many of our visitors are eager to get back outside and enjoy the sunshine!
