The Arkansas River winds from Great Bend, Kansas to the border of Kansas and Oklahoma, with 192 miles of scenic water trail and riverbank corridor wildlife habitat. The river meanders through expansive prairie, rich pastures, and farmland, passing along many cities and small towns as it goes. This hike and bike trail is about 6 miles long and is along the Arkansas River. The trail is great for wildlife viewing!
