Nestled in the Northwest region of the Sunflower State, C2T Ranch in Plainville is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by travelers seeking a unique blend of natural beauty and Western charm. Whether you want to use the ranch as a basecamp to explore around the northwest or a place you can hangout at all weekend long, C2T has plenty to offer. There are electrical and primitive camping sites spread out throughout the property that give campers plenty of space and privacy. There are also 2 glamping tents to choose from making it great for those who want to camp without packing all the goods! It’s a hiking lovers paradise with over 9 miles of trails throughout the rugged canyons and topside of the cliffs. Be on the lookout for many types of wildlife, wildflowers, and bird watching opportunities.

You can add-on a few different activities during your stay. I highly recommend the guided ATV ranch tour. You’ll get an in-depth history tour, including the newly discovered area of the ranch that has been confirmed as the first battle site of the infamous Buffalo Soldiers. You’ll get to ride to the top of the 150’ tall rocky bluffs for incredible views as far as the eye can see. Depending on weather conditions, you can also float down the 4 miles of the Saline River that run through property in a stock tank. I haven’t gotten to do this yet, it’s on my bucket list for 2024. You can order food baskets that include their ranch-raised beef or locally sourced pork and owner Cynthia’s homemade seasoned potatoes.
