A look back at the last 80 years of KANSAS! magazine
For eight decades, KANSAS! Magazine has captured the beauty, spirit, and stories of our state—and over the past eighty years, we’ve continued that tradition with fresh perspectives, striking photography, and unforgettable features. Our temporary exhibit, Celebrating KANSAS!, brings together stories from past issues that honor the people, places, and moments that define life in the Sunflower State. This online companion offers a deeper look into the exhibit, giving you the chance to revisit favorite stories, explore behind-the-scenes insights, and experience Kansas at its best.
This exhibit would not be possible without the partnership with the Kansas Museum of History and the Kansas State Historical Society.
