The museum itself is a beautiful building that, aside from being photo-worthy, was actually once the original airport of Wichita! The Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum is awesome! If the story of Amelia Earhart fascinates you, as it should, then you have to visit this place! I would have loved to have this in elementary or early middle school. This interactive museum does an excellent job showcasing Amelia's legacy, and has quite a lot for kids (and adults) to do on their visit. My personal favorite was the room with flight simulators!
