Varsity Donuts has become of staple of Aggieville. This is also a lot more than just a donut shop. The inside is rather large and comes with a lot of seating arrangements for you to stick around and enjoy the atmosphere! They also have some pretty cool merch, and of course, a wide selection of donuts to choose from.

This is a great little place located right in downtown Clay Center. While they certainly have donuts, they have become famous for their nut rolls, which some visitors say are the best they've ever had! If you haven't been to Clay Center yet, be sure to drive through the entire town as it probably has more murals than anywhere else in Kansas! 

Open 24 hours a day, this place was my favorite place to get late-night snacks during my Freshman year at KU! While they have traditional donut-hole shaped pastries, I always went for the fritters and the twists. The service is fast and friendly - ideal for a donut shop!

This place just opened not that long ago! Given that I really despise mornings but also love donuts, I had to give this place a try to uplift my typical sour mood at sunrise. The taste of the donuts is absolutely impressive when you consider the little shoebox they are operating out of!

I mean, the name alone makes me want to try it! Perhaps the best part about this place is that it's a lot more than a donut shop; they have a little bit of everything. You can enjoy great specialty drinks and coffee, as well as indulge in their lunch and dinner menus! Of course, since they open at 6:30, you cannot go wrong with the breakfast menu either!

Aside from also having a cool name for a donut shop, Six O One also comes with some of the best variety you can find in a donut shop. Open daily from 4:30 AM (early birds win the donuts) until 1 PM, they bring some of the best morning vibes to the college town of Pittsburg, KS!

Welcome to one of the most casual and laid-back places in Newton. The Newton Donut shop is conveniently open every day between 4:30 AM - 2 PM (convenient for the late birds, I should say). It's centrally located and not too far from the nearby Bethel College in North Newton.

You can sleep in a little bit longer with this one! The Kane Kan Coffee & Donuts is a drive-thru donut and coffee shop that opens at 6:30 AM until 10:30 AM. While they might specialize in convenience, the donuts will still go by fast, so don't sleep in too late or you might miss out.

Alright, so I can only vouch for the location in Topeka, but I'm going to assume that all 3 locations taste great. I've always appreciated Paradise Donuts because the donuts are so good, and the service is also extremely quick! You really can't ask for much more!

Head on over to Dodge City and Garden City for some of the best donuts in Southwest Kansas. Crispy donuts are slowly emerging as a regional favorite, so much so that they even had to open 2 locations in Wichita just to keep up with the demand. Not sure about you, but when customers insist on you giving them more, that's usually a sign that the place is worth trying out for yourself.
