Troy is the county seat in Doniphan County, which is the far northeast corner of the state. Visitors can get to Troy via the incredible Glacial Hills Scenic Byway, located in the ancient glaciated region of Kansas.

Troy's historic roots date back to the days of pioneers, who were journeying across the Oregon and California trails. You can see the rich history with attractions like the Peter Toth Indian Monument and the Lewis and Clark Commemorative Marker
