It’s been said that Sterling has a “Norman Rockwell” feel of authentic America. Sterling College, a Christ- centered, four year college brings students and families from many different areas. Strong Main Street and Chamber organizations coordinate several special events for the community. The arts abound with theatrical and music productions and art exhibits. It is an entrepreneurial community with many small businesses located next to the World Headquarters of JACAM Chemicals. The city explodes with over 2,000 visitors for the annual old Fashion Fourth of July celebration culminating with fireworks at Sterling Lake. This is community is where the “Quality of Life Shines!”
