You and your bestie can catch a ball game at state-of-the-art Equity Bank Park, where Minor League Baseball’s Wichita Wind Surge play their home games. The team, a Class Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, belongs to the Texas League.

The Wichita Wizards of the Mid-America Basketball Association work their magic at Garvey PE Center on the Friends University Campus. They won the 2024 MABA championship.

After powering down in 2025, the Wichita ICT Regulators are recharged for the 2026 Arena Football One season. They play at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City.
 

Soccer

May–July

FC Wichita has a men’s team in The League for Clubs and a women’s team in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. Both achieve their goals at Stryker Sports Complex.
 

Hockey

October–April

The Wichita Thunder, a minor league affiliate of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks, slice the ice at INTRUST Bank Arena. More than 5 million fans have attended games over the course of 30-plus years.
