St. Marys is a city in Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee counties between Manhattan and Topeka off US-24. The city's incredible history and gorgeous Catholic architecture make St. Marys a truly charming small town. Visitors can live the history of St. Marys by visiting the Oregon Trail Nature Park and Silo Mural, Louis Vieux Historical Site , and the St. Marys Indian Pay Station Museum Complex, a building that was once used for various payments by the United States government to the Potawatomi.
If you are hungry while you are in St. Marys, then you have to try the local restaurants. Feast yourself at the Sugar Creek Country Store, a truly special place to be in town! Try the tasty Froggy's or Bobby's Food Co, both are excellent choices!
