The city of Marquette is a quiet community next to the Smoky Hill River with lots of small-town charm. Marquette is accessible from K-4, which runs along the beautiful Prairie Trail Scenic Byway. Not only do visitors love the drive to Marquette, but they also cannot get enough of the two surrounding State Parks - Kanopolis and Mushroom Rock. Kanopolis State Park is ideal for Equestrian, Fishing, and Hiking lovers, and Mushroom Rock serves as a great place for photography!
