Following the success of its inaugural year, Somewhere Fest and Conference 2025 is returning to downtown Wichita on June 13–14, offering a uniquely Kansan fusion of music, art and community connection.
Presented by Movement Musick and Midtopia, this not-for-profit event celebrates creativity, inclusion and the power of music to bring people together. More than a music festival, it’s a gathering space for thought leaders, artists and changemakers from across the Midwest and beyond.
Formerly known as Elsewhere Fest, the event's name change to Somewhere Fest reflects a shift in perception. Wichita, Kansas’ largest city, is claiming its place on the creative map as “somewhere” worth experiencing.
