Things to do in Hunter, Kansas

The town of Hunter, a humble little town of just 53 residents, is nestled in the Blue Hills of southwest Mitchell County. Located on State Hwy 181, Hunter has a community building & cafe, a post office, the Bank Lodge, a library, gas pumps, a city park, two churches, and a large grain elevator.

Hunter also lives up to its name. The town is unironically a favorite destination for, you guessed it, hunters! The area is especially known for pheasant and deer hunting. When it comes to hunting, you won’t find many better places in Kansas than Hunter!
