Bushton

Bushton lies in the northwest corner of Rice County, just south of Kansas Highway 4. The community is active with seasonal events such as chocolate and apple dips, a fall roast beef roast, sausage and pancake feeds and an ice cream social. Businesses within Bushton include a bank, engine service, automotive service, tire service, local farmers’ co-op, various manufactures and a convenience store. Bushton Manufacturing makes woodworking tools and under the name of Quin-Craft Products, manufactures the “Atom Pop” corn popper. The popper is the original, no shake – no stir popcorn popper as a healthy alternative to microwave popcorn. It is putting Bushton on the map.
