The Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts is a restored Fox Theatre and presents concerts, comedians, theatre for children, live theatre, and is also home to the Salina Symphony. The nearby award-winning Salina Community Theatre presents year-round productions and is celebrating it's 51st season. SculptureTour Salina made its debut in 2011 and 2012 is bringing 24 new sculptures to adorn Santa Fe & Iron Avenues downtown. You can vote for your favorite! Public art abounds in Salina and you'll find lots of it downtown. See how many different works of art you can find. There are working art studios such as Studio B, Bergen's Studio & Art Gallery, and the Art Center's Warehouse, where you can watch masters at work.If it's shopping you're in to, you need look no further. The Lee District has specialty shops that feature everything from antiques and collectibles, to unusual gifts, quilting, pottery, jewelry, furniture, baby items, Kansas specialty products, sports items and much, much more.You can spend the day and enjoy one or two of the delicious restaurants that are dotted around downtown.
