On a 39-acre, partially wooded and secluded tract of land in Hutchinson, you will find a picturesque setting for private weddings, private events, family reunions and corporate events. Seasonally, one may find deer grazing through the property or wild turkeys enjoying their habitat. Birds provide a myriad of sounds and largemouth bass make fishing fun for children and adults alike, even with and catch and release policy. The original barn has been restored to give group events an interesting central gathering area. Many people comment on their ability to relax among the serenity of large cottonwood, cedar and red oak trees, ponds, outdoor gathering areas, and the event center. Plenty of parking is provided onsite as well as ADA facilities. Originally developed as a fruit orchard with some fruit trees still existing, and later as part of the Dillon family produce farm, this property is rich in history and is still adding memories for many lifetimes. The Richman Arboretum is open year round on an appointment-only basis.
