Ray Miller Park
4103 S 4th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048
The federal government donated the land for Ray Miller Park to the City in 1972, as part of President Nixon's Legacy of Parks program. Prior to that time, the land was part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. The park is primarily a passive use area. Youth soccer programs use part of the park for practice fields and there are occasional special events planned at the park. Any new uses must be approved by the National Park Service as stipulated at the time of the donation of the land to the City. The park consists of 20 acres of land.
