Midland Railroad Hotel is a perfect stop over on your next business or leisure trip. The Midland is a historic hotel established in 1899. Guest rooms have Mission style furnishings affording the guest comfortable accommodations while providing an atmosphere rich in historic flavor. A large portion of the woodwork in the hotel is original to include the beautiful staircase. The parlor in the hotel is original, to include the beautiful staircase. The parlor is decorated with mission-style furniture, and features original stained-glass windows. There are two large dining areas and Drummer’s Tavern Lounge. The hotel was a filming site for the movie “Paper Moon.” Winner of the 2004 Kansas Preservation Alliance Award. The proud owners are Tom and Heddy Mahoney and the Executive Chef is Jesse Weiser.
