For 113 years, the Kincaid Fairgrounds has attracted thousands to the annual Kincaid Fair, also known as the "Worlds Fair". Created in 1903, the Kincaid Fair has been one of the longest mainstay traditions in Anderson County, Kansas. During fair time this small town expands from a population of 122 to over 4,000. The attraction may be unclear. It may be the rows of antique tractors, the hour long parade, the fair exhibits, the community dinners held during the fair, or one of the best carnivals in the state. Add small town hospitality and charm and there are many reasons to come back to Kincaid year after year. The fair is typically held in September annually. The Kincaid Fairgrounds are located on the town's main street, Commercial Street, and provides a great picnic area or gathering spot year round.
