Visit Fort Bissell and step back into the 1870's when Phillips County had its humble beginnings and beyond. We showcase the Pioneer life in our various buildings, that all were moved from their locations within the County and preserved on our premises. Seven buildings all filled with treasures of the past - One-room schoolhouse, depot, mercantile, log cabins, a sod house and the well-known stockade. Special exhibitions change annually - so there's always something new to see or experience. We are open on Tuesdays through Saturdays from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day, excluding July 4th.
