The Coronado Quivira Museum focuses on the history of Rice County and Central Kansas. Exhibits feature the Quivira, Coronado's 1541 journey north, the Santa Fe Trail, and Rice County America 1902. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Groups are welcome. Call ahead if you would like a guided tour.
