Blossom Trail Bee Ranch encompasses the full spectrum of an individual beekeeping operation. Weather permitting the field bees will be flying and, upon returning to the hive, will be adorned with their pollen loads. Honey is always for sale and a variety of nectars can be expected. The ten acre farm includes a lawn, an orchard and a garden maintained by the organic method. I have a horse and a chicken flock. The cream is the production of the fine nectars (to be) honey. Other honeybee products include comb honey, assorted beeswax items and bees. Pollen and propolis are available upon request. Strawberries, blackberries, peaches and apples can be found during the season. I offer a beekeeping subscription service, BEES4US. Tuition includes a basic two-story hive, the beestock, ten hours of instruction and my on-call assistance through the season. The bees start working as spring settles in. Kaw Valley Farm Tour 18 is October 6th and 7th...opening hours 10 a.m. til 6p.m.
