Cozy Inn

Odds are you might have heard of this place before, because Salina has become (arguably) world-famous for Cozy Inn. Dating back to 1922, making the restaurant 103 years old at the time of this write-up, Cozy Inn not only holds a special place in Salina's restaurant scene, but also a significant place in the city's history. The locals commonly refer to them as "Cozy Burgers" and are known for their unique, onion-laden grilling recipe. This place is so important that you might even be asked when visiting Salina, "Have you eaten at Cozy Inn yet?" - Seriously.

Jiffy Burger

Smith Center is a community mostly known for its proximity to the Geographic Center of the Lower 48, but did you know it also has an amazing burger joint to enjoy? Jiffy Burger is another one of those classic, walk-up-window ordering venues with old logos for Coke visible all over the place. You really can't ask for anything more classic than this. Even their own Google Profile considers them a "retro eatery." 

Arkansas City

Burger Junkie

Come and get your fix on Highway 166! Burger Junkie is an absolute classic with red booth seats, checkered flooring, and motorcycle memorabilia on the wall. It really doesn't get any better than this!
 

Winfield

Another classic burger joint to check out is located in a small, red barn in the middle of downtown Winfield. Small, but mighty, they are indeed, as they only offer enough space for carry-out. You simply have to stop by here if you want yet another nostalgic experience.

Oakley

The Bluff

If you enjoy having daily specials written on a chalkboard, then head on over to The Bluff in Oakley. While they only stay open during prime dining hours (they close from 2-5 daily), this local hotspot has some of the best beef you can buy!

Buffalo Bill's Bar & Grill

Just when you thought Oakley was done referencing Buffalo Bill, someone decided to open a restaurant in dedication to the very name. More than just a local favorite, this place also has pool tables and everything else you need to enjoy a good bar and grill.

Easily one of the flagship restaurants in Dodge City. The Central Station Bar and Grill is a fantastic place, not just for burgers, but for the entire dining experience. You simply cannot go wrong by eating here.

This one is actually a food truck, a smash burger food truck, to be exact! This food truck is hands-down one of your go-to spots to grab a Burger while you "Get the Heck into Dodge."
