1 cup butter ½ cup sour cream
1 cup water 1 tsp. almond extract
2 cups flour 1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar 1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs beaten
In large saucepan, bring butter and water to boil. Remove from heat; stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, almond extract, salt and baking soda until smooth. Pour into greased 15" X 10" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-22 minutes. Cool 20 minutes.
Frosting:
1 cup butter
¼ cup milk
4 ½ cups powdered sugar
½ tsp. almond extract
1 cup chopped nuts
Combine butter and milk in saucepan; bring to boil. Remove from heat; add powdered sugar and almond extract and mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour on cake.
