Low-Cal Hot Apple Chicken Salad

2 cups cooked, diced chicken
2 cups diced red apples
½ cup sliced celery
¼ cup chopped onion
10 oz. cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. sage
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Shredded Cheddar Cheese (optional)

Combine chicken, apple, celery and onion in large mixing bowl. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Combine with the chicken mixture. Pour into a baking dish. Top with cheese, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly hot. Serves 6 at 166 calories each.
