A savory Latin classic with bold, unforgettable flavor

Bring the taste of Wichita’s beloved Sabor Latin Bar & Grille into your own kitchen with this richly spiced Beef Picadillo recipe. A traditional Latin American dish known for its comforting blend of tender beef, fresh vegetables, and warm spices, this version gets its depth of flavor from a robust mole sauce—either homemade or store-bought.

At Sabor, this hearty dish is served with chipotle mashed potatoes and garnished with fresh cilantro and a pepperoncini for a pop of brightness. It’s a soul-warming entrée that balances savory heat with subtle sweetness, making it perfect for a cozy night in or an elevated dinner with friends.

Pair it with a glass of red sangria and let the vibrant flavors transport you straight to the heart of Old Town Wichita.
