Things to do in Beloit, Kansas

The North Central Kansas city of Beloit is the Mitchell County seat. Beloit’s historical limestone buildings downtown, and the nearby county courthouse, St. John's Catholic Church, and the First Presbyterian Church, are a tribute to the early settlers of the Post Rock area. Visitors enjoy the shade and the disc golf course Chautauqua Park, nestled in a bend of the Solomon River, providing summer camping, a playground and water park, as well as 1000s of Christmas lights during the winter Isle of Lights.

Nearby Waconda Lake and Glen Elder State Park offer additional sporting and recreational activities. More information at mitchellcountykstourism.com
