C.W. Parker Carousel Museum
Out of approximately 1,000 carousels produced by Charles Wallace Parker's company, only 16 are in operation today-and two of them are at the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum in Leavenworth. The main attraction is the 1913 "Carry-Us-All," which includes 31 hand-carved wooden features including horses, rabbits and a spinning teacup. If you visit for the day, catch the Frontier Military Byway and explore northeast Kansas. If carousels spark your interest, you can also see another one of C.W. Parker's creations in Abilene!
