Just east of the center of the county, the City of Lincoln Center is the county seat of Lincoln County, as well as the county’s commerce center.  For those interested in the arts and humanities, Lincoln is home to three museums, an art center, and a first-run movie theater renovated and operated completely by volunteers. The Lincoln County Courthouse (NRHP) was built in 1900 out of local limestone, designed in the Romanesque Revival style, is one of the most photographed courthouses in Kansas. Lincoln is not only a great place to visit, but is a terrific place to live!
