Things to do in Goessel, Kansas

Are you looking for a small rural community that has that true “Americana” feeling? Look no further than Goessel – a quite well maintained community with a thriving locally owned grocery store that boasts they have the “coldest pop in Kansas”. After visiting the Mennonite Heritage and Ag Museum – an eight building complex telling the story of the Mennonite settlers and the Turkey Red Wheat they brought with them from Russia when they settled in Kansas and the wheat that is still grown in Kansas to this day. Don’t leave town without stopping in at The Lincoln Perk Coffee Shop at Bethesda Home. Goessel’s motto “Small Town, Big Heart” rings true.
