Located just north of Highway 56 between Lyons and Ellinwood, Chase is known for its model school system, friendly folks, active and growing senior center and veteran fire department. It is home to a number of oil companies, a machine works company, a pipe and supply company, a salvage yard, a bank, farmers’ co-op, Chase Agri-Credit and three hair salons. The city also houses the popular Longshot Bar and Grill. Kats Korner Convenience store is newly remodeled and serves all of the community. Less than two miles outside the city is Cal-Maine Foods, part of the largest producer and marketer of shell eggs in the United States. The facility in Chase produces more than 23 million eggs in its regular production division. The city hosts the Chase Festival every year in the summer with a parade, popular breakfast, lunch in the park, and activities for the whole family.
