Delano Bed and Breakfast is tucked away in a quiet, turn of the century, neighborhood in the center of the Historic Delano District. The B&B is within walking distance, or a few minutes drive from shopping, dining, museums, city parks, Masonic home, Friends and Newman Universities, Riverfront Stadium, and the airport.

This old historic bungalow was originally built in 1910 by automobile dealer pioneer, Morris Schollenberger; President and co-founder of the first car dealership in Kansas established in 1900. Prior to opening his R.E.O. dealership, the brothers owned and operated a bicycle repair business.

One step inside and you will feel yourself leaving the hectic pace of the 21st century behind. The B&B features historically preserved interiors furnished with antiques, original fine art, and finely crafted mission style furniture.

Outside enjoy a covered front porch or take a scenic stroll through the cottage garden, stopping along the way at one of the many seating areas. Ask about booking a Tea Party either inside or outside in the garden or in the garden Tea Room.

A light Breakfast is served during the weekdays. The full Bed & Breakfast experience is available on the weekends. Be sure to ask about that..  When in season we buy produce from local farmers markets. We can also modify our menu to meet any dietary restrictions you may have.
