About Marvel Park
Marvel Park is home to the city's major outdoor sporting arenas. Marvel Park Stadium is home to Parsons High School Vikings Football. It boasts a 2,000 seat stadium with cover. The park also hosts the Labette Community College Cardinals Baseball home field and is home to the Parsons Recreation Center Blast Ball and T-Ball Fields. It is also home to the Parsons Dog Park.
Amenities
Besides these two fields, the park has three other lighted baseball fields, two shelter houses, restrooms (only available during events and during warm weather and locked at other times), a walking trail, and a horseshoe pit.
Campsite
The park also has a 24-unit RV campground at the south end of the park. The campsites feature electric (some 30 AMP, 50 & 60 AMP services available) and water hookups and a sanitary dump station nearby. There is a seven day limit for camping, however, special employment waivers can be granted by the City Manager. Call (620) 421-7030 for more details if needing special permission to stay longer.
