A 1940's working,short grass prairie farm/ranch located near the rim of historic Wild Horse Canyon and Wild Horse Corral.( 10 minute hike) Located 10 miles from Smoky Hill River, near a lake and fishing/boating recreation area which is privately owned. A quiet,peaceful working farm, located about a half-way point between Monument Rocks and Castle Rock areas. Fossil hunting, Indian artifacts, rock hunting and wild flowers are abundant in season allof which are found on premises with permission. We have an abundance of wild life hunting areas available, as well as located within 15 miles of Butterfield trail. Indian camping and hunting grounds are located near Wild Horse Canyon, as well as abundance of white tail and mule deer,pronghorn, pheasant and dove are easily found. Hunting guide for deer in season also available by family members of bed and breakfast owners. Many of our guests are returns who love the wild, wild western Kansas air and beautiful sights that can only be found off the pavement.
