Located in Lawrence, Kansas, Washington Creek Lavender is the “child” of Kathy and Jack Wilson. Kathy formerly one of the nation's leading food photographers plants the seedlings, makes sure they are watered and weeded and then picks them at just the right time. Then, if that is not enough, she designs and hand-makes all the products, from sewing to painting! Jack does the plowing,“some” weeding(lots of field work) and the marketing/selling. It is our labor of love! With more than 6,000 thriving lavender plants our passion for this wonderful plant grows and grows. For many years we wanted to grow lavender, enchanted with the idea of seeing beautiful purple plants dotting the horizon in rows like little soldiers, ready and able to heal, relax and sooth. We are still fascinated by its ability to mesmerize as it relaxes and stimulates. Come to our farm and see the beautiful lavender plants. It is really seasonal with the plants blooming from mid-June to mid-July. See our drying barn and tour our lavender store and gift shop! Again, thank you for stopping by and we hope you will come back again and again!
