One of the few eco -friendly [incorporation of biodegradable + compostable components*] Farmers Markets in the State of Kansas, our Solomon Farmers Market & Mercantile [SFM&M] offers premium fresh produce which is locally and regionally sourced as well as seasonal fruits, heirloom tomatoes, Artisan-crafted breads, uncommon baked goods, Kansas specialty and aged cheeses, farm-raised Kansas beef, seasonal pumpkins and gourds, etc. Some Organic and Non-GMO foods will also be featured. Ever-changing refreshments will be sold at each Farmers Market. Our Mercantile includes new modern kitchen tools and kitchenware, home + outdoor décor, outdoor flags, plus other new and uncommon retail products for entertaining, etc. We will showcase in part, USA Made pet toys and healthy USA Made pet treats for dogs and cats. Not limited to just produce, the curated SFM&M will draw individual, micro-business, female entrepreneurs, small local agribusiness enterprises and local FFA and 4-H Members together as dynamic Vendors who will create a destination for customers of all ages to come and enjoy a fun and welcoming shopping environment on Tuesday evenings from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Centrally located i n the heart of Solomon at the City Park, children can play on the playground while parents and grandparents shop with the various Vendors.
