Prairiewood allows our paying and non-paying guests to view and enjoy a working ranch along with other historic and natural attractions that are located on our 400 plus acres of tallgrass prairie. For recreational, entertainment, and educational purposes, we make our various events spaces and accommodation venues available. In addition, opportunities exist for guests to enjoy hiking, walking, fishing, cycling, paddling, birding, photographing, swimming, wildlife viewing, ranch and cattle viewing, celebrating, trap shooting, hunting, and other recreational, cultural, and educational experiences and activities. We offer luxury lodging at one of two separate guest houses, as well as offer an converted barn which is available for various special events and activities including weddings, reunions, parties, banquets, retreats, meetings, and other group gatherings.
