Open April 1 through December 31, annually, Prairie PastTimes features antiques and "Made in the Flint Hills" arts and crafts. Prairie PastTimes features the work of 40 cooperative participants, displaying jewelry, homemade candles & soaps, doll clothes, ladies and children's clothing, rustic furniture made from reclaimed lumber, hand-forged decorative metalwork, small original stained glass items, large traditional stained glass pieces, blown glass, fine picture frames made of Chase County timber, limestone & slate sculptures, wood carvings, scroll saw art, photography, aprons and other kitchen items, tote bags, quilts and quilted decorating accessories, hand-crafted baby gift items, home-made jams and jellies, fine art furniture, hand-crafted silver pendants, hand-woven baskets, a year-round Christmas corner, and newly crafted and antique music instruments, all displayed around and among beautiful antique furniture. Prairie PastTimes is proud to display both the "Simply Kansas" and "Made in the Kansas Flint Hills" designations.
Staffed daily by one of the coop craftpersons, Prairie PastTimes is open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays Noon to 4:00 p.m., and additionally, whenever the sign is out front!
