Located about 4 miles east of Mankato, 9 miles north of US-36 on K-14, then 4 miles east on North Shore Road

Lovewell Reservoir is for people who love water. The south shore’s high bluffs block the summer winds and help calm the waters. The lake is known for its quality walleye, white bass, and channel catfish. Lovewell Wildlife Area has 2,215 acres of public hunting area available around the reservoir.

Lovewell Marina and Grill offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus during the spring and summer months, including some of the best BBQ around!

A historic limestone schoolhouse hosts summer church services every Sunday.

Lovewell Reservoir is operated by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
