The famous Broadview Hotel has re-opened its historic doors, after a multimillion dollar renovation, as the new Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview. Inside, the fresh contemporary furnishings create the perfect environment to enjoy Drury’s free extras. Begin the day with the free hot breakfast and ending it with the 5:30 Kickback. Located in Downtown Wichita, adjacent to the Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center, the Drury is situated along the banks of the Arkansas River with a beautifully landscaped river walk and convenient Q-Line Free Trolley stop located right out the front door. You'll enjoy the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview as a spectacular meeting venue or the perfect place to work, play or rest.

Built along the banks of the Arkansas River, the Broadview Hotel soon became known as the premier hotel in the mid-west, and a favorite stop along the Chisholm Trail. The ballroom is renowned for the exquisite mosaic designed by the famous American Indian Artist - Blackbear Bosin. The theme of the mosaic is "The Advance of Civilization in Kansas," and includes the wild animals, pioneers, American Indians, railroads, and depictions of the first small towns. The basement of the hotel has seen its share of excitement over the years! During prohibition of the 20's, Broadview’s basement was Wichita's only "speakeasy". The speakeasy featured drinking, gambling, and a restaurant large enough to seat 600 comfortably.
