The Brown County Historical Society Ag Museum resembles a 1900 farmstead, complete with farm house, wash house, blacksmith shop, hen house, woodworking shop, milk barn housing farm implements, an old linotype, stoves, phone booth, and display of veterinary equipment. The combination corn crib/grain bin houses an old wagon and a retired electric company truck. The Oltjen Memorial Building has a display of horse drawn equipment and a mural of the original Oltjen home southeast of Robinson. The tractor barn features various modes of transportation from our past, including surreys - complete with fringe on top - old cars and tractors, and even a sleigh.Windmill Lane has 42 windmills and wind chargers standing (the tallest is 65 feet tall) and features plaques that show the windmills were donated in memory of the parents of several area families.Photo courtesy of Deb's Images/Fast Foto, Hiawatha, KS
