Boot Hill is located on the original site of Boot Hill Cemetery in Dodge City. Exhibits, programs and colorful entertainers tell the story of Dodge City's Wild and Wicked beginnings. Exhibits included a vast Old West Gun collection, Indian, Buffalo, Cattle, and Clothing Exhibits, The Boot Hill Cemetery, Ft. Dodge Jail, One Room School House, and an 1878 Victorian home. Along Front Street is the Rath General Store, the Long Branch Saloon Cigar Shop, Dry Goods Store, Tonsorial Parlor, Doctors Office and more. Summertime activities include Gunfight reenactments, Can-Can lessons, Deputizing, Buckaroo lessons, and Stagecoach rides. The Ice Cream Parlor and Long Branch Saloon offer refreshments for visitors. The Country-style Dinner and the Long Branch Saloon Variety Show take place each summer evening. Boot Hill is an educational, historical institution with just enough fun added for the whole family to enjoy! The museum is open 8:00am to 8:00pm from Memorial weekend to Labor Day and 9:00am to 5:00pm and 1:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday the remainder of the year.
