#KSBucketList Experience #55 - Pawnee Indian Museum
The Pawnee Indian Museum State Historical Site near Republic offers an authentic glimpse into the lives of one of the most dominant Native-American tribes of the central plains. The centerpiece of the site is the excavated floor of a large Pawnee earth lodge from the 1700s. Artifacts and a nature trail round out the experience.
Visit any of the 70 locations, take a photo at the site and post it to Instagram or Twitter or on the Kansas Tourism Facebook page and use the hashtag #KSBucketList (one entry per person per location) for a chance to win. One winner will be drawn at random each month and awarded a prize, and a grand prize winner will be announced at the end of 2016. Contest begins January 1, 2016.
