On January 29th, 1861, Kansas officially became the 34th U.S. state. What became known as Kansas Day is a day for all Kansans to celebrate our history and heritage. While the Kansas experience cannot be defined by a single destination or to-do list, all of us are shaped by stories written in the stars.
