Come celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the historic Chisholm Trail with "Trails, Rails and Tales" on Labor Day weekend 2017 in Abilene, KS, the first Cowtown where thousands of Texas longhorns were driven by cowboys through a rugged terrain and loaded onto rail cars and shipped to markets. A weekend packed full of fun activities for all ages! Last year's headliner Red Steagall is returning again! Other live entertainment includes Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, Sons of the Pioneers and the Kansas Chapter of the Western Music Association! Experience the Old West again with Western music and poets, historical performances from Abilene's past, longhorn cattle drives in Abilene's downtown and much more!
