The spirit of the Blue Ridge mountains comes alive with Ralph Stanley II and the Clinch Mountain Boys when they make a stop at Hutchinson’s Historic Fox. Hard to believe but this outfit has roots dating to 1946 and (you recognized the lineage) Dr. Ralph Stanley’s steadfast leadership of the band and basically the bluegrass field. Ralph Stanley II honored Dr. Ralph’s retirement wishes and easily stepped in to guide the Clinch Mountain Boys heritage. Heritage? Yes - Ricky Skaggs, Melvin Goins, Larry Sparks, Keith Whitley, James Allen Shelton and more have been Clinch Mountain Boys and it’s your turn to seen them on our stage. Grammy winning guitarist Ralph Stanley II is joined by John Rigsby on fiddle, mandolin and vocals; Landon Fitzpatrick on banjo and vocals; Randall Hibbitts on the upright bass and vocals. Trust us, this band brings a lot of talent, energy and humor to the stage as they perform old-time favorites, bluegrass hits and new original material. Playing more than 200 shows a year, Ralph Stanley II & The Clinch Mountain Boys are an audience favorite at festivals, clubs, arenas, amphitheaters, country fairs and wherever the blue bus might take ‘em!
