Kickoff for the 2019 NJCAA Football National Championship is 5 PM CST on Thursday, December 5 at Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. OTHER NOTES: This is the second year of a three-year agreement with the Crawford County Convention and Visitors Bureau to host the game in Pittsburg as a neutral location. 2018 was the first time the NJCAA national football championship was a standalone event and televised on live national television, via CBS Sports Network. Fans who love defense were not disappointed as No. 1 East Mississippi prevailed in a 10-9 slug-fest over No. 2 Garden City on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Carnie Smith Stadium in Pittsburg, Kansas. EMCC defensive lineman Everitt Cunningham was the player of the game as the Lions won their 5th national championship.
