Lend Me a Tenor is a comedy by Ken Ludwig. The play takes place in 1934, in a hotel suite in Cleveland, Ohio. Henry Saunders, General Manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Tito Merelli, a world-famous Italian Opera Tenor. Merelli is coming to sing the lead role for one performance in Giuseppe Verdi's Otello. It's a sellout crowd. Merelli arrives late and is given a double dose of tranquilizers by Saunders' assistant Max by accident. Max believes that Merelli is dead. How can Saunders and Max save the show so they won't have to refund a sold out show?! A hilarious comedy that you won't want to miss! Friday & Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday show at 2:00 p.m.
